Kai Veitch set for next Ginetta Junior challenge at Oulton Park

Kai Veitch heads to Oulton Park from 23 to 25 May for the next rounds of the Ginetta Junior Championship, looking to build on his early-season progress with Pace Performance.

Kai Veitch will return to action at Oulton Park from 23 to 25 May for the next rounds of the 2026 Ginetta Junior Championship, continuing his rookie season in cars with Pace Performance.

After opening the campaign at Donington Park and Silverstone, Oulton Park provides another important opportunity for Kai to keep building racecraft, confidence and consistency in one of the UK’s most competitive junior championships.

The first two race weekends have already given Kai a wide range of experience. At Donington, he made an encouraging start to his Ginetta Junior campaign, qualifying 17th before moving forward through the races and finishing as high as 11th. It was a positive first full race weekend in cars and showed clear progress across the event.

Silverstone brought a more disrupted weekend. Kai qualified strongly, placing 14th for Race 1 and 12th for Race 2 based on second-fastest times, but Race 1 ended early after a series of crashes ahead left him with nowhere to go. That limited his race mileage going into Sunday, but he made the best of the rest of the weekend, finishing 15th in Race 2 and 13th in Race 3.

Now the focus turns to Oulton Park, a very different challenge again. The Cheshire circuit is known for its narrow layout, elevation changes and limited margin for error, making qualifying, racecraft and precision especially important.

For Kai, the weekend will be another step in the learning curve as he continues adapting from karting into cars. Each event is adding more understanding of the car, the championship and the demands of racing in a closely matched Ginetta Junior field.

The aim for Oulton Park is simple: keep learning, keep improving and continue building from the experience gained across Donington and Silverstone.

A big thank you goes to Pace Performance for their continued work, and to everyone supporting Kai through #TeamKV, the official merch range and the wider programme around his rookie season in Ginetta Junior.

Support from #TeamKV members, partners and followers is helping build the platform around Kai as he takes this next step in motorsport. With more racing ahead, every bit of support makes a difference.

Kai will be looking to carry the lessons from the opening rounds into Oulton Park from 23 to 25 May and keep moving forward as the season continues.
